Assistant Operator on Metal Processing Machines

Job Description

• Assisting operators in working with metal processing machines, including presses, laser cutting machines and robotic welding systems
• Preparing, delivering and positioning materials for processing
• Handling products during the production process – placing, turning and removing metal elements
• Performing simple finishing operations on products, when required
• Maintaining cleanliness, organization and safety of the workplace and work equipment
• Following prescribed procedures, quality standards, and occupational health and safety measures

Requirements

• Previous work experience in similar positions is preferred but not required
• Candidates without previous experience will receive the necessary training
• Willingness to work in two shifts, with occasional need for a third shift
• The position involves physical work, but it is not particularly demanding
