Support and mentor the maintenance team: share technical knowledge, assist in troubleshooting, and help raise the team’s competence level through structured on-the-job coaching and knowledge transfer.
Collaborate with the existing Automation Engineer: jointly develop and implement automation solutions, share responsibilities within the team, and contribute to a continuous improvement culture.
PLC programming: read, analyze, and rewrite existing automation programs to improve reliability and performance across our production systems.
Drive automation projects: work within cross-functional teams, support the Product Owner of Automation.
Conduct feasibility studies for new production processes and contribute to the transition from product development to serial production.

Degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or automation technology; several years of relevant professional experience required.
Experience working in collaborative, self-organizing teams; ability to share knowledge effectively and work across functional boundaries. Experience in a SCRUM or agile environment is a plus.
Hands-on PLC programming experience; ability to read, analyze, and rewrite automation programs.
Strong communicator and team player; comfortable working in international, cross-functional environments.
Good IT skills; basic knowledge of a CAD tool (SolidWorks preferred) is an advantage.
Experience with SAP is an advantage. Background in the automotive industry is a plus.
Good command of English (written and spoken) is required for international collaboration.
