For our client, a leading real estate developer operating in a dynamic and fast-growing environment, we are seeking a CHIEF ACCOUNTANT to join their team. The successful candidate will present property offerings to potential clients, guide buyers through the entire process, and contribute to achieving sales targets while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
ROLE SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping, month-end and year-end closing processes, and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger through regular trial balance reviews and account reconciliations. It coordinates external consultants for the preparation and submission of financial statements and tax returns, maintains effective relationships with banks and other external partners, and provides financial reporting to management and shareholders. The role also supports internal and external audits, ensures compliance with applicable accounting, tax and financial regulations, monitors legislative changes, and contributes to the continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and controls.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience in finance and accounting
- Proven experience as a team leader
- Knowledge of local and international legislation in finance, accounting and tax
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Experience with MS Office, SAP/Oracle or any major ERP system
- Fluency in English
- Sound understanding of process and transactional flows
- Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of general ledger accounting principles
- Strong analytical skills paired with knowledge of financial analysis and business concepts
- High level of operational effectiveness with the ability to deliver quality results
